Coach Farhad Roshanaie 


Farhad Roshanaie is a nationally recognized tennis coach, biomechanics expert, and former top-ranked junior player. With a background in Biomedical Engineering from TU Ilmenau in Germany, Farhad brings a deep understanding of sports science and movement mechanics to the court.

As a player, Farhad was ranked No. 1 nationally throughout most of his junior career in his home country. He achieved an ITF junior ranking of No. 475 and later reached No. 149 in the ITF 35s, defeating the then world No. 6. Most recently, he served as a U.S. Open Hitting Partner, training with top-20 WTA player Daria Kasatkina.

Farhad has developed multiple nationally ranked junior players and was honored to coach one of his students at both the U.S. Open and the Australian Open Junior Championships.

Farhad is the founder and director of Tennis in the Jungle, the official tennis provider at Frederick Johnson Park, where he continues to train players of all levels with a focus on development, discipline, and joy in the game.
